Gerbil Sex-Change?!
Earlier this month, Yelena confirmed what she long expected – that Mohinder and Caesar are not little boy-gerbils at all, but little girl-gerbils! PetLand took a look at our babies, swore they were boys, and out the door we went. Now, two months later, we are sure they’re girls, and we are sure (see picture) that Skinny is one happy old man.

Introducing Mohinder and Caesar
They don’t stand still long enough to get clear shots, but they’ll slow down soon enough. This photo dates to November 29, 2007, a day after we bought them, when the people at Petland said they were just two months old.
